Design thinking is an iterative process in which you seek to understand your users, challenge assumptions and redefine problems. While it can be traced back for centuries (or perhaps even longer)-it can be traced back to the modern business after Tim Brown, CEO and and president of design company IDEO, published an article about it in the Harvard Business Review.
